Borgáta Spa

Thermal water was found in a 732m depth under the ground while in search for oil in 1964. The thermal water temperature of which was 47 oC was the base of a thermal spa which has been surrounded by a tourist resort. The spa is open from the beginning of May till the end of September, and 2 hip-pools, a large pool and a paddling pool offer great bathing experiences for the visitors.
There are numerous hiking possibilities nearby, e.g. Sárvár and its area, or Celldömölk and the nearby volcanic Ság Hill, or Borgáta, which lies at the bottom of the Small Somlyó Hill. The whole area can be explored on foot.
