Thermal Bath of Tamási

Tamási is a town with a population of 10.000 inhabitants. It is situated in the northern part of county Tolna, 38km from Siófok in southern direction.
The settlement can be reached easily on main roads No. 61 and 65 or by rail on the route between Budapest and Pécs, but in this case you will have to change trains in Pincehely. It can be approached on main road No. 65 from Siófok-Kilite Airport.
There are many tourist attractions nearby the town, for example the worl-known fellow-deer Reservation in Gyulaj, the Reservation of Pacsmag with the water-birds wildlife that is internationally recognised, the Castles of Simontornya and Ozora, the fishing and horse riding facilities that are provided in the area, or the thermal bath, which offer pleasant relaxation for 150 thousand people every year.
Currently the bath has 2 sitting pools, 2 padding pools, 1 25m and 1 32m long beaches, as well as a 33 and 1/3m long swimming pool in its 7acre territory.
The water of the Thermal Well No. I was given the qualification of mineral water in 1987 and medicinal water in 1990.
The medicinal water is especially effective in case of limb articular, cartilage pains, degenerative diseases, spine and hip-joint pains or alterations.
The bath does not offer medical services supported by the health care system in spite of its recognised thermal water.
Plenty of services are provided for the guests in the bath: chiropody, manicure, and sauna, acupuncture therapy, therapeutic and freshness massage. In addition of these services there are 15 shops and restaurants and other comfortable equipment, such as sun beds, swing-beds, etc. can be hired.
