Bázakerettye

The thermal spa in Bázakerettye welcomes the guests with its seasonal opening hours from the middle of May till the middle of September.
The spa has two warm water pools with different facilities, bubble baths and one cold water pool.
Opening Hours: 10am-7pm on Monday-Friday
       9am  -8pm on Saturday-Sunday.
Capacity: 2000 people at a time.
Reductions: Children under the age of 6 can visit the bath free. Groups of more than 10 students can get a 10% reduction.
Several catering units can be found on the territory of the spa, as well as a programme-office where you can rent deck-chairs and parasols.
You cannot bath at night since the cleaning and sterilization of the pools is done during these hours. The cleaning and bacteriology examination of the pools is carried out by the operator every week.
In the place of the current cold water pool there was another pool, which was built in 1938 at the same time as the Déryné Cultural Centre was built, and the local people have been using it as a bath ever since.
The reconstruction of the cold water pool was started in 1994 and it was opened for the public in the spring of 1996.
The pool is 33x15m with a stretched surface and has a water-rotator. The water is 1.63m at the least deep point and it gradually gets deeper and deeper till 2.05m. The construction of the thermal pools was started at the end of 2000 and they were completed and opened to the public in May, 2002.
The temperature of the water of the round shape hip-pool is 36 oC and it is 58m3.
The temperature of the water of the heart shape aquatic pool is 30 oC and its size is 104 m3.
The temperature of the water of the bubble bath is 36 oC.
The engine room of the pools was completed with one of the most modern technological equipment in 2001.
The temperature of the pools and the way of sterilization offer safe and carefree bath for people of every age group, from the age of 0 to 100.
