Tinódi GuesthouseThe building of the Tinódi Guesthouse was built in the beginning of the 1900s. The building that used to operate as a restaurant with a garden caused memorable moments for the trespassers and local people of Sárvár as well. The political changes have influenced the restaurant as well since it was nationalised in 1954 and it got into the hand of the Catering Company of County Vas. Our family got in touch with the restaurant at that time, the leader of the restaurant was Bukovics Gyuláné (maiden name: Erzsébet Török) from 1970. She was only an employee of the catering company at that time though. 1990 was a historical moment as well: we bought the Tinódi Restaurant as one of the pioneers of the privatisation and started to refurbish the completely run-down building. 1995 is another important date since a new wing was added to the building of the restaurant and shops were built downstairs and in 1997 we realised one of our biggest dreams when we completed the building of the guestrooms upstairs. There are 8 double rooms (extra beds can be used in two of them), as well as a room with 4 beds. Besides the family rooms there is a lounge by the reception as well as a car park and shops. We can offer accommodation for 20 people + 2 extra beds. All the rooms were completely refurbished in November 2002 and they are available with comfortable new beds, TV with satellite access and a mini-bar with great variety of choice. In the bathroom a shower, a washbasin and a toilet can be found. There is massage, chiropody, manicure, beautician, sun-beds and hairdresser around the block of buildings.
