Sopron-Balf

The operation of the National Sanatorium of Sopron, a uniquely suitable centre for the prevention and cure of diseases and rehabilitation, is based on and assisted by the sub-alpine climate of the town lying at the foot of the Sopron Mountain belonging to the Alps, and the closeness of the medicinal water of the town of Balf.

At the Balf section of the sanatorium, patients suffering from locomotor disorder are cured and rehabilitated. High sulphur-hydrogen concentrate medicinal water even known in the times of the Romans is used in treatment. Primarily owing to its thermal water, the bath is suitable for treating and rehabilitating patients suffering from locomotor disorder.

Overhaul, treating, and rehabilitating processes are assisted by up-to-date diagnostic physiotherapy surgeries having swimming pools. As supplementary treatment, our patients can have walks and small trips in the nearby parks and forest. The institute offers hotel facilities having higher standard than the national average, even satisfying luxury demands from some aspects.
